Things to do in Houston over Spring Break

  Spring Break a time to be able to take a break from school or work. Here in the city of Houston and its surrounding areas there are various things to do. Houston is a very diverse city  with people of all types of cultures. During Spring Break there is an abundant amount of things you can do, most being at a convenient price for you and your family or even free.

   One of the biggest events in the city during this time period is the Houston Livestock and Rodeo. Where various events are being held at the same place. Ranging from a barbeque contests to a large number of  attractions of carnival rides. Most people attend because of the famous concerts, consisting of a rotating start shaped stage.      If you like being outdoors then The Houston Zoo and Discovery Green are an option. Both offering educational but fun events every day of the week. Moody Gardens, Kemah Boardwalk, Pleasure Pier,, Downtown Aquarium and many more are located just a few miles from Houston, but they sure do guarantee extreme fun for everyone of all ages.

     However, if you don’t like the outdoors there is other great options for you to be able to enjoy your Spring Break. For example, the Children’s Museum of Houston, Museum of Fine Arts, The Health Museum and many more. Some of these activities may require an entry fee or it may be free.
