Hurricane Dorian Bares Down

With all its might, tropical winds blowing into the Atlantic Ocean with moisture evaporates high into the atmosphere and within its path are North and South Carolina with devastating actions with the name: Hurricane Dorian. 


Hurricane Dorian it has been downgraded to a category 1 hurricane, it hit the Abaco Islands as a category 5. Powerful tropical winds have been barreling towards the Carolinas in the U.S. and already battered The Bahamas. Hurricane Dorian has devastating effects has destroyed this once beautiful island nation. 


“We are in the midst of a historic tragedy in parts of our northern Bahamas,” Bahamian Prime Minister Hubert Minnis said at a news conference in Nassau. 


Dorian threatened the Bahamas, Florida, the Carolinas and has bounced along the coastline towards Canada.


“Satellite wind data indicates that Dorian is stronger than shown in the previous advisory,” the National Hurricane Center said.


Hurricane Dorian continues to cause chaotic all over around the Atlantic Ocean and affect millions of people on its path. Now people are trying to recover from the aftermath that Dorian has caused like Pawleys Island in South Carolina.


“It’s a wonderful place to live. But when you live in a place like this, you do have to make a conscious decision and realize what you could be letting yourself in for and you have to be okay with that,” Mark Adams said.


More people are coming in The Bahamas and the Carolinas from all over the Atlantic to help the millions who were affected by Hurricane Dorian. From the Coast Guard,civilians, and many are giving aid to the affected areas from Hurricane Dorian.


We are also coordinating with Caritas Puerto Rico who are planning to send relief supplies based on an update of needs from those on the ground,” said Nikki Gamer, Media Relations Manager of Catholic Relief Services.


This will be a long recovery for the many millions of people who were affected by Hurricane Dorian, but are work together united as one.
